Rules And Regulations


XArena has every intention of running under the American Motorcyclist Association Sanctioning Body and will follow all AMA Rules governing Amateur competition.

FACILITY RULES AND REGULATIONS

  • Each rider will be issued four dated starting gate passes when entering the facility.
  • Each rider will be assigned to a specific pit stall.
  • Upon entering the facility the rider must chose a designation of A (advanced – AMA district card Amateur/Expert required at sign-in for proof of riding ability) or B (Novice/Beginning Amateur) level track. Starting gate passes will only be valid for a specific track.
  • To ride the A level track the rider must have an AMA District rating of Amateur or Expert license from a sanctioned racing organization. To the Novice rider who chooses to cherry pick their racing class: Please inform the ticketing master prior to entering the facility of your true riding ability in order to place you on the correct practice track.
  • There will be 20 motos lasting 25 minutes for the first 5 motos and 15 minutes for the remaining 15 motos for a total of 6 riding hours per session.
  • At the 24 or 14-minute mark a checkered flag will be displayed and the track will be cleared for the next moto to begin.
    Each moto will be started from the starting gate; the starting gate will hold 40 riders.
  • Only riders allowed on the track for each moto will have started with that moto’s gate.
  • Riders will be allowed to reserve their position on the starting gate.
  • Saving line locations or cutting will not be allowed.
  • Once the rider leaves the track the rider will not be allowed back onto the track until the next available moto.
  • Starting gate passes are only good for the date of purchase.
  • There will be an allowance of one mechanic for each rider into the practice area; all other visitors may enter from the front of the building for viewing pleasure.
PRACTICE RULES
    • Per new Jersey State Law, pit riding of any type will not be permitted, including outside of the facility.
    • Motorcycles must be walked with the engine off in any area other than the track.
    • Only one rider and one pit crew allowed on the track floor per entry.
    • Riders are the only people allowed onto the track.  The one-man crew must remain in the designated mechanic or pit area.
    • A DOT and Snell approved helmet must be worn at all times on the track. In addition, approved eye protection (goggles), riding gloves, long sleeve jersey and pants, and certified (steel tip) boots must be worn when riding.
    • All motorcycles must have approved silencers and not exceed AMA maximum dB levels.
    • Bikes with excessive nose output will not be permitted.
    • Any alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the premises.
    • Engine oil changes are permitted in a designated area of the facility. There will be a small disposal charge for each change.
    • Storage of any type of engine fuels will not be allowed in the building. There will be a designated out door fueling area for those that choose to purchase race fuels or replenish the motorcycles fuel tank.
    • A facility security employee must be present in the refueling area, and authorize the rider to begin re-fueling.
    • If the rider or mechanic leaves the facility temporarily, a pass-out must be obtained from security during the practice session or race event in order to return.
    • When the practice session has concluded, the rider must vacate the premises within 20 minutes. The rider and guests are permitted to leave their vehicle, with motorcycle and belongings in the parking lot if they choose to stay at the facility for other activities.
    • Please retain the daily entry receipt in order to regain access to the main entrance of the building.
    • Obey all caution flags and strobes. When yellow flags or strobes are displayed, riders must proceed slowly with no jumping or passing on the entire track until the flags or strobes have been removed. When red flags are displayed, all riding will stop.
    • All trash will be disposed into the proper designated areas of the facility.
    • Disposal of tires or hazardous waste is not permitted on the premises.
    • To enter the PRO SHOP or second and third level riders will have to exit the gate booth and re-enter at the front of the facility. No MX boots or dirty cloths will be allowed in the rest of the facility.
    • Each rider/mechanic is permitted to bring tools and personal belongings into the facility. Please keep peripheral items to a minimum. Each pit is 5 feet wide by 8 feet deep.


    Finally, and most importantly, HAVE A GREAT TIME IN OUR NEW FACILITY, and above all,  RIDE SAFELY!!!

    Thank you for your cooperation in following these rules and regulations. These rules and regulations are governed by our contract with the State of New Jersey and the City of Trenton. It’s imperative that we all abide by them.
