Indoor
Vertical Wind Tunnel to Open In Trenton,
New Jersey
This Fall!
Zero Gravity will be the Largest and Most
Advanced Indoor Skydiving Facility in the United States
The new extreme sport, known as ‘Body Flight’, will experience
a major transition when Zero Gravity, the largest and
most advanced vertical wind tunnel in the United States, opens
this fall in Trenton, New Jersey.
At Zero Gravity, anyone can violate the laws of gravity
and fly. Participants will be suspended on a column of air and
able to soar up, down, backward, and forward. Even acrobatic
maneuvers are possible in the Zero Gravity Tunnel with its
expansive layout.
Zero Gravity is designed to bring the breathtaking
experience of skydiving to the masses in a safe and controlled
environment, while at the same time appealing to professional
skydivers with it’s advanced features and capabilities.
Zero Gravity
will be the most advanced vertical wind tunnel ever built.
New technology has been used to produce wind speeds in excess
of 140 mph, speeds that could once only be reached by jumping
out of an airplane. Now professional skydivers can practice
and compete in a safer, more controlled environment, even in
harsh winter weather or extreme summer temperatures.
Not only will Zero Gravity be the largest, most
powerful vertical wind tunnel in the United States, its new
design will re-circulate the air, keeping the temperature at a
comfortable 80 degrees Fahrenheit, even in the dead of winter.
SkyVenture, the designer and manufacturer of the wind tunnel,
has successfully operated a smaller open-air facility in
Orlando for several years. Their patented technology makes
Body Flight safer and more affordable than ever before.
Zero Gravity representatives are presently in
negotiations to build an additional facility in Southern
California and are considering sites in Seattle, Wash. and
Chicago, Ill, among others.
The Trenton, N.J. site was chosen for its proximity to New York City and Philadelphia, as well as the working relationship with the brand new Xarena, the indoor extreme sports facility that is being built adjacent to Zero Gravity that will feature semi-professional motocross/supercross competition as well as a host of other amenities.
The two action sports will work to compliment one-another and offer a one-stop extreme sports experience for the entire family.
