James A. DiEleuterio, Jr. Newest Partner to XArena Motor Sports™

Former Treasurer for the State of New Jersey and CEO of the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority to Head New Business Development for Indoor Action Sports

Trenton, NJ – XArena Motor Sports™ announced today that James A. DiEleuterio, Jr., former Treasurer for the State of New Jersey under the Christine Todd Whitman administration, and recently retired President and CEO of the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority (Giants Stadium, Meadowlands Race Track, Monmouth Park Race Track, Atlantic City Convention Center, Sports Hall of Fame of NJ, Continental Airline Arena) has been named Executive Vice President of National Market Development for the new indoor action sport facilities.  

Mr. DiEleuterio will collaborate with Mr. Keeler in the creation of new markets throughout the USA and will be responsible for the financial issues related to each regional facility.

DiEleuterio holds a Bachelor’s degree from Rider College and an M.B.A. from Widener University .  He began his public service career in 1971 for the Division of Taxation and has since been assistant director of the division and assistant state treasurer for tax policy before serving as State Treasurer from 1997 to 1999.

Mr. DiEleuterio brings thirty years of experience in sports and entertainment management, coupled with revenue and financial management that include operations, policy, regulatory affairs and application of emerging technologies.

XArena will be national”, said Clayton Keeler, President of XArena.  Mr. DiEleuterio has a careers worth of experience that solidifies the teams desire to build a multitude of XArena facilities throughout the USA .

DiEleuterio will begin his new role November first and will assist in the final elements of the Trenton proposed facility.  The City of Trenton is prepared to review the final design plans for the XArena project in November. Upon final approval, XArena officials have confirmed that they are ready to start construction immediately and have in fact awarded all of the major subcontractors for the construction of the site and building.  

Butler Heavy Steel, out of Kansas , is now fabricating the building and the first load of steel to the site will be delivered in December.  Anticipated opening for the arena is still set for late May, early June of 2003. Complete renditions can be seen at www.xarenasports.com
